About

I’m Deborah.

I’m a wife, a mother to three boys under ten, and a woman learning how to live with intention in the middle of a full, ordinary life.

I’m Kenyan and American — shaped by two cultures, two ways of seeing the world, and a journey that has carried me through seasons of joy, uncertainty, growth, and deep becoming. I’ve lived enough life now to recognize how time, experience, and faith quietly change a woman — often without her noticing until she pauses long enough to look back.

My days are filled with school runs, meals, noise, prayer, tiredness, laughter, questions, and small moments that don’t always feel significant until later. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I’ve found myself slowing down — paying attention — and realizing how much wisdom lives in the everyday.

My faith in God has been a steady center for me. It has carried me through seasons I didn’t feel strong enough for, shaped my perspective, and helped me grow into a woman I’m beginning to love — honestly and gently. I am not the woman I was ten years ago. I’m more grounded now. More aware. Still learning.

This space exists because I believe there is value in sharing life as it is — not polished, not rushed, not perfected. Just real reflections from where I am, offered in the hope that another woman might feel seen, understood, or less alone.

I don’t write as an expert. I write as a woman becoming.

You’re welcome here.

About Me

I’m Deborah- a woman living, learning, and paying attention. This blog is where I gather my thoughts on life, faith, womanhood, and the lessons that come with time and experience. I write from where I am, trusting that honesty and reflection can meet another woman right where she is too.
